St Matthew's

St. Matthew’s prides itself on being as flexible as possible around our parents and allowing them the freedom to continue to work while their child is with us for many great years. We operate a wraparound care from 7:30am – 8:30am and 3:00pm – 6:00pm (5:00pm on Fridays) and we hope to be able to accommodate most places that are requested. Please contact the school office and we’ll be happy to check the diary for any free spaces.

Breakfast Club

The breakfast club is open Monday – Friday (term time only) from 7.30am – 8.30am. Breakfast is cleared away by 8:15am to ensure the hall is cleared away and there is time to organise before school starts.

Afterschool Club

The afterschool club is open Monday – Friday, (term time only) from 3:00pm – 6:00pm, (5:00pm on a Friday). To book a place in the afterschool club, please use the Arbor app.

Please note that the app will ask you to specify a collection time and you will be charged according to the time stated. This means that if you book until 5pm but collect before 4pm, you will still be charged for the hour between 4 and 5pm.  

A snack is provided during the first hour of the club.

We run an hourly charge system, for example: If your child was collected at 5:45 you would be charged the full 3 hours.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for the first hour (per child).

Payments are to made via your Arbor account in advance of any sessions booked.

If your child is attending another school led club and is required to go into Afterschool club afterwards, you will still be charged for the full cost of the Afterschool club session which they attend.

How to book sessions:

Please book your child’s place for both Breakfast Club and Afterschool club on the Arbor app. If you require support with the app, please contact the school office.

Childcare Vouchers

At present we have accounts set up with a lot of the nationwide childcare voucher providers and are happy to receive vouchers from parents who are currently in a scheme. We are also fully set up and registered to accept payments from the government’s tax-free childcare system.
