The words we say
Prayer is a central part of our school day and we are passionate about opening up the word of God for our children and families to understand and treasure.
Most importantly, we teach our children about the importance of the words that we say to one another. By choosing to use kind words, we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus.
Our Lifesong prayer lays the very foundations for how we conduct ourselves and for how we aspire to be more Christ like in our daily interactions with one another.
You can use the videos linked below to help your child to learn some of the more traditional prayers that we pray together in school.
Oh my God you love me
You’re with me night and day
I want to love you always
In all I do and say
I’ll try to please you Father
Bless me through the day
Amen
Bless us O God
As we sit together
Bless the food we eat today
Bless the hands that made
the food
Bless us O God
Amen
God our Father, I come to say
Thank you for your love today
Thank you for my family
For all the friends you give to me
Guard me in the dark of night
And in the morning send your light
Amen
Our Father
Hail Mary
Angel of God
